Why This Downloader Does Not Access Private Pins
A private or login-only Pin is protected by an access decision. This service is deliberately limited to public URLs and does not ask for the credentials, browser cookies, or tokens that would be needed to impersonate a signed-in session.
Privacy boundaries are a feature
Secret boards and restricted Pins may contain personal ideas, client work, or material shared with a limited audience. Attempting to bypass those controls would create privacy and security risks for both the account holder and the downloader user.
Never export session credentials
Browser cookies and access tokens can allow someone to act as your account. Do not paste them into a downloader, install an extension that extracts them, or upload a browser profile. This site will never ask for that information.
Use an authorized alternative
For your own private content, use Pinterest's account features or return to the original files you uploaded. If another person controls the Pin, ask them to share the source asset through a method they approve.
Questions about why this downloader does not access private pins
Can I provide my Pinterest cookie to unlock a Pin?
No. Cookies are sensitive session credentials. This service does not accept them, and you should not share them with any downloader.
What if the private Pin belongs to me?
Use Pinterest's authorized account tools or your original source file. The public downloader intentionally operates without account access.
Does a private-link URL become public when shared?
No. Possessing a URL does not override the access controls or permissions attached to the content.
