Download guide
How to Download Pinterest images
This guide explains how to save Pinterest images when you own the media or have permission from its rights holder. It uses any modern browser, includes a title-and-thumbnail confirmation step, and explains why some image Pins also provide an official Pinterest download option.
Pinterest images: copy one public Pin URL
To begin the pinterest images process, open the individual public Pin containing Pinterest images, use Pinterest's Share control, and copy its secure link. Paste only that HTTPS URL into the downloader. A board, profile, search page, unrelated shortener, or direct CDN address does not provide the same title and preview context required for this specific guide.
Verify Pinterest images in any modern browser
While using any modern browser, submit the copied link and wait for the returned title and thumbnail for Pinterest images. Compare both with the intended Pin, especially when a short link redirected from another screen. If the preview is missing, unexpected, private, or identifies different media, stop and copy the individual public Pin link again rather than accepting an unverified result.
Find Pinterest images in Photos, Gallery, or Downloads
After confirming permission and the Pinterest images preview, choose Download and keep any modern browser open until the transfer completes. Look in Photos, Gallery, or Downloads, then inspect the filename, extension, dimensions, duration, and playback as applicable. Remember that some image Pins also provide an official Pinterest download option. Keep the source Pin URL with authorized files so their origin and usage context remain clear.
Questions about how to download pinterest images
What URL should I use to download Pinterest images?
Use the secure URL for the individual public Pin containing Pinterest images, normally obtained from that Pin's Share and Copy link action.
Where will Pinterest images be saved?
With any modern browser, the result normally appears in Photos, Gallery, or Downloads, unless the browser was configured to ask for or use another folder.
What limitation matters when saving Pinterest images?
The important limitation is that some image Pins also provide an official Pinterest download option; downloading also does not grant ownership or permission to republish the media.
