Download Pinterest Media on a Mac
The downloader works in a modern macOS browser without a native application. Safari and other browsers pass the returned media to the normal macOS download location, where Finder and Quick Look can be used to inspect it.
Process the individual public Pin
Open the Pin, copy its complete address, paste it into the form, and wait for the title and preview. Confirm that the media is expected and that you have the right to retain it before selecting Download. No Pinterest login should be entered into this site.
Locate the result in Finder
Choose Downloads from the Finder sidebar or open the browser's download list and reveal the item in Finder. Press Space to use Quick Look without changing the file. Safari can be configured to ask where to save files if you maintain separate creator or client project folders.
Keep the source and master distinct
A downloaded Pin may have been resized or compressed. If the content is your own, keep the original project asset in an organized archive and treat the Pinterest copy as evidence of the published version. Record its Pin URL and permission context alongside the file.

Safari normally uses the Downloads folder, but its General settings can specify a different location or ask for each download.
Is a macOS app required?
No. Safari, Chrome, or Firefox can use the web downloader directly.
Why is the Pinterest copy smaller than my original?
Pinterest may resize or recompress uploaded media, so your original export should remain the archival master.
