Download Pinterest Media on Android

Android browsers usually place downloaded media in a Downloads folder. The exact label varies by phone maker and browser, but the public-link workflow remains the same and does not require an APK.

Public pinterest.com and pin.it links only. Never enter login details.

From Pinterest to the browser

Open the public Pin in Pinterest, use Share, and copy its link. Paste that link into the downloader in Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet, or another current browser. Review the returned media before starting the file transfer.

Locate and open the file

Use the browser download notification or open Files, My Files, or your device manufacturer's file manager and select Downloads. If a gallery app has permission to scan that folder, images and compatible videos may also appear there after a short delay.

Avoid unsafe APK claims

A downloader does not need device administrator access, sideloaded software, or a modified Pinterest application. Do not install an APK that asks for credentials or excessive permissions merely to process a public link.
